We are currently seeking a Line Cook.
Major responsibilities include:
Prepare breakfast, lunch and/or dinners to recipe book specs
Review menus prior to preparation of food
Assure that all food procedures are followed
Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
Follow all sanitation guidelines
Become familiar with menu items/dishes
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Stand for long periods of time
· Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend and speak simple sentences in English to perform essential functions of the job.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos written in English.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
We believe in cross-training our line cooks to also step into a prep role as needed.
